Google: Foundations of User Experience Design course
As part of the Google Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design course, I designed Bloom, an app that helps users quickly and efficiently order stunning, luxury bouquets online. The app supports screen-reading technologies and highlights trending bouquet options, making it easy for users to find pet-safe, on-trend arrangements without the need for extensive research. This project strengthened my UX skills, from user research and wireframing to prototyping and usability testing, reflecting my approach to creating thoughtful, user-centered designs.

About Bloom
Bloom is a popular florist situated in downtown Halifax that offers luxurious, handmade bouquets. They aim to make gift-giving easy and affordable for everyone by providing a wide range of trendy bouquets at competitive prices. Additionally, Bloom ensures pet owners can confidently order pet-safe bouquets. Their target audience includes busy commuters and workers who may not have the time or means to shop for bouquets in-store.
Digital wireframes
Throughout the initial design phase, I consistently utilized feedback and insights gathered from user research to inform the development of screen designs.
In addition to ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies, the designs strongly emphasized addressing the essential user requirement of easy navigation and product organization.
UI Mockups
The final UI design follows Bloom's brand guidelines, featuring cohesive fonts, a vibrant colour palette, and high-quality imagery to highlight each bouquet. These design choices not only enhance usability but also create a polished, premium feel that aligns with the brand's identity. Accessibility best practices ensure an inclusive experience and clear visual hierarchy guide users through a seamless ordering process.
